Solaris Media is a gaming and tech multimedia blog that focuses on providing reviews and thoughts on video games, gaming culture, tech, and the internet from a unique perspective - None of that seemingly endless stream of copy and pasted buzzwords you often see on other sites. We aim to provide a more personal, engaging, and sometimes humorous take on the topics we cover. The goal is to have a place to decompress and share thoughts on the things we love, without the woes of being overly professional or polished in writing.

finn.exe - Owner, Editor-In-Chief

Finn is the founder and editor-in-chief of Solaris Media. Tech tinkerer and gamer from early childhood, Finn has a passion for all things gaming, but especially Kojima-san. Finn is a huge fan of story-based single-player experiences, and has a particular love for Atlus, Square and Kojima Production titles. Finn is pursuing a degree in acting, streams on Twitch a few times a week, and was an amateur Muay Thai fighter.

Herman furiously chews on the wires and tumbles across the keyboard to ensure the blog stays up and running. He chases the bugs and sometimes squishes them.

OUR STORY

Solaris Media originally started as a record label focused on the DIY/DIT music scene, but has since evolved into a multimedia blog after no longer wanting to be responsible for running a label. The transition is a natural one, as the label dabbled in bootleg video game OST's in its later years, and Finn has streamed on Twitch for many years. This gives us a place to continue to share the things we love at our own pace.
